We have decided to sell our Publication. The Kids Directory logo is owned by Hidden Values, which is a Texas based company. We purchased the license from them to publish and distribute the Kids Directory in the Magic & Wood River Valleys in Idaho.
Our publication is not a franchise of Hidden Vallues. We paid Hidden Values a License fee for the rights to use the logo. Which means that we do not pay franchise fees, or any other fees. In fact, Hidden Values does not tell us how we have to run our business. You are free to run it most any way that you wish.
If you need help, advise, or have problems, you can contact Hidden Values, the other Kids Directory publishers on the Yahoo Group, or us.
Kids Directories are in most every state, and most every large city in the US. They have a group on Yahoo for all the publishers to talk on, which is a very valuable resource. Almost every publisher that I have talked to is a Christian, very nice, and very open to sharing ideas, information, and materials.
We are selling for several reasons. The most important reason is that we feel that its not God's will that we should continue with the business. We feel that we made a mistake when we started it and that we need to go back to focusing on our other businesses.
We also run a Nanny Placement Agency called Belle Bebe, & a web design business called Affordable Web Designs.
We started with our first issue in January 2007. We are currently on our 3rd issue, which is the March issue. We have a Graphic Artirst set up for handling the creation of the ads and the layout of the publication, which you can either continue to use or find your own.
We distribute 10,000 copies per month in the Magic Valley, which includes Twin Falls and surrounding towns. Though we have a section in the March issue for Sun Valley, we do not currently distribute up there.
