My loss is your gain!! Fully established job listing website. The " Associated Press" recently reported that internet advertisers spent $5.48 billion dollars on search, display and other internet ads during the first quarter of 2009. This is down from $5.77 billion dollars for the first quarter of last year, a 5 percent decline. However, this decline still projects well for online advertising and its future growth. I decided to build this site after hearing that the local newspaper was charging $600.00 to run a job listing ad for the a 2 day listing. I did the research on my soon to be competitors only to find out the same thing the were over charging too. WWW.KELOLANDEMPLOYMENT.COM a local job advertiser charges $99.00 for a 30 day job listing. WWW.SIOUXFALLSHELPWANTED.COM charges 225.00 for a 30 day job ad and WWW.JOBDIG.COM charges 249.00 for a 30 Day listing. On average each of the companies listed above have anywhere between 250 and 300 job listings each month. On the low end 25,000 a month for the lowest generated income per company. I visioned lowering the cost of advertising job listings per month by charging $50.00 for a 30 day listing and I imagined every company would join immediately. I ran into one major problem. Advertising! All the competition could afford it and I am not in a position to be able to spend a lot on advertising. Without any real advertising I already have 40 listings in the 2 months we have been open, most of which were offered under a free listing period to help get the word out about the company. To someone who could afford it this is a great opportunity to have steady cash flow with little work. I still believe in this 100% and to the purchaser to prove I believe in it I will still be the web master for you for one year and no additional cost.
