No matter how much the world is developed, man is still and will always be a traditional living being. The penchant towards the past is evident in each and every field. Thus the architectural field is no exception from the same. Man always tries to incorporate something from his past as well. When it gets introduced into the architectural field it brings a unique collaboration of the past and the present leading to the birth of some very exclusive and rare designs. The houses thus built will also express the human love for his tradition and above all forms a means of uplifting of ones culture and custom as well.
Today one of the finest means of conserving ones tradition is through the custom homes. Actually the term custom house was used for a building in Dublin where the single house use to house many other government offices like the department of environment and the department of heritage and so on. It was built on the bank of river Liffey. Today but the term custom house is synonymous with the houses built in the traditional architectural style. Custom house are meant to be something of the past generally. The custom house of Dublin was built in 18th century and that too in a neoclassical style.
