Just trying to get some constructive feedback on this product idea and to see if anyone might be able to point me in the the right direction to secure funding. I started a company that intends to design and build a wearable knee sleeve device that will protect the knee. This device uses embedded microelectronicmechanical sensors (just above the nano level) and embedded rfid tags that will provide real-time monitoring of the internal ligaments, muscles, and bone and transmit this data wirelessly via mobile network to your phone or laptop. This device will be called Protective and Reactive Integrated Sensors System "PARISS." PARISS will mitigate and prevent ACL, MCL, PCL, and LCL injuries in realtime even before the wearer is aware that he or she is in trouble. The sensors actually think for themselves. The research and development will be done by a major university research team that specializes in sensors.
