. I have developed the website, programming etc. that enables inventors & business people to register & protect their inventions and records without fear of them being stolen. They accomplish this without actually uploading and storing their files by a technique called 'File Fingerprinting'. Here's how it works: Just as a fingerprint is unique, so too is every computer file. A File Fingerprint is a string of letters and numbers which represent and identify, to a mathematical certainty, the binary composition of a file by determining its coded makeup. It's impossible for two files to have the same digital fingerprint. By keeping an exact copy, registrants can prove that their business plans, product designs, research data, software programming, inventions, business concepts, trade secrets, tax records, web sites and other important work existed in a known state at an exact point in time. If anyone ever challenges the origin or development of their file they can prove the integrity, authenticity and date of concept of their claims. This is not document storage, but a unique method of protecting intellectual property. A major competitor is Surety.com, To date, Surety has registered more than 138 million records for corporations, the federal government etc. If interested, please review my Beta site at http://www.ArchiveVault.com then get in touch.
