I have an 83yr old auto parts store for sale in Sterling Colorado. Few businesses have such a track record. I am 71 and want to retire but will train a buyer. Wonderful experienced employees who want to stay and NE Colorado is experiencing and economic boom due to oil/gas exploration. Sales tax revenues are way up in the area.

First of all you must decide what type of school you are looking for, your investment, your location etc. then you have to find out the number of schools who are ready to sell their franchise and full fill your criteria then you can fix a meeting to school administrations directly to avoid any confusions. Regarding future, starting a business related to education is always a good decision not just because it gives good revenue, its about your personal satisfaction you will feel proud when you educate someone and contribute in making a educated society.

While buying a business there are certain things which you have to keep in mind like earlier market reputation, product quality and why they are selling that business. If you are aware about the market you can easily handle the situations.

One Advice before you go about buying your business, get the businesses valuated before you make a choice. Don't risk getting cheated!! You could choose to get a professional business valuation from a consultant, though that would probably cost you quite a bit especially when you're buying a small business. Another equally useful and more affordable option is to get a valuation online. A reliable one that I can recommend is BizEquity.com (www.BizEquity.com). All you have to do is to fill in 7 simple steps and you get to generate 4 different business valuations and an in-depth analysis of how the business is performing relative to other similar businesses. This method costs just a fraction of the time and money you would spend getting a traditional one time valuation (just a dollar a day) and the thing is it allows you to valuate as many businesses as you would want! You can save and go back to change information for each of your potential buys and generate as many reports for comparison as possible. You can do a free trial with no subscription required first to see how you like it. A real steal!
