I am selling both my business and the real estate it is located on. The business is a rental party store I started from scratch in 2001 with the help of my son. In more than ten years, the business is a standar-setter for the rest of the rental stores. We have built a loyal customer base and our competitors follow our leads to improve their businesses. In spite of the recession is going on, our business income is consistently growing. We could grow more, but we decided to keep the company manageable so it provides employment for me and my son, with sporadic help from outsourcing. The location of the business is in the center of the commercial heart between Lansing and East Lansing (home of Michigan State University). If you are interested in coming to the U.S. with a secure income, the property qualifies for the EB-5 Foreign Investor Visa Program. If you are an American citizen and want to secure your source of income, this company will ensure you are will not be part of the unemployed, or be part of the 99%, unless you do not take care of the company. I am willing to train the new owner until the company runs as it is right now, under the new management. Most companies for sale are FOR SALE because they are having difficulties. My company might be an exception, but it is running with profits and its income is growing; and the price of the real estate is going up because there are many developments around that are increasing the value of the land (check Red Cedar Development-Lansing online, and "One Billion Dollar Investment in Lansing-City of Lansing website) to see the magnitude of the development I am talking about. In fact, I am not worry if I do not sell either the business or the real estate soon, because the property is more valuable as the time goes. Within the party rental business, we have built a U-Haul Dealership that won the national award for 2011 and is listed among the 100 best U-Haul dealers in the nation. We also, have a moving supply store where we provide all what is needed to move. The store is consistently growing. Thinking about future growth strategy, the company can get into big events (currenly we serve only individual and events for less than 1000 people), and open corresponding online stores for both party rental supplies and moving supplies. I am asking $95,000 for the business, without including the real estate and rental inventory. I am willing to consider to lease the building if the new owner does not want to relocate. The commercial building has a separate 4-bedroom house behind it, we use as a living headquarters. The new owner could use this house as a living space, but it can be converted to a retail store since it is zoned commercial. If you need more details about the business, please call me or my son 517-337-1919 or email me at ventures3000@yahoo.com, or if you want information about the real estate, call Sussan at Century21 at 517-242-1673.
