There are so many aspects to managing one's own business. There is the finance, the marketing , sales and acustomer relations. I find it is better rather than taking on employees  to outsource some things like finance, accounting, web-design.  The more you outsource the more you are able to get on with your core business.  It is important to be on good relations with all the above people and arrange regular meeetings in order to ensure things are going as planned.

I think the best education you can get is by diving in and learning from your mistakes. Start off with a small, simple business that you don't have to invest that much money in. Make mistakes, be creative. Take those lessons learned into a more complex business. Continue this process, and you will be a very wise business owner by the time you want to run a multi-million dollar enterprise.

Another measure that can be adopted is avoiding to make a mistake. So before diving into the business why not consult a professional in the field.

Whatever your plan involves–services or products–managing your own business takes certain skills beyond the specialized knowledge that makes you good at what you do.

[font="times new roman"][size="3"]Managing a business takes knowledge, discipline, problem-solving skills, determination and stamina. And it helps if you can juggle.

Finances. Inventories. Employees.  Equipment. Processes. Marketing. Sales. Customers. Growth. And much more.
Managing a business requires so much more than just knowledge of key business practices. For all we must  learn about some basic leadership traits and decision-making skills that every manager needs to make a business run successfully.
