This is a very easy Company to manage, The only two W-2 Employees are the officers of the company, the rest of the employees consisting of the graphic designer, office administrator, editor, distributor part time secretary and 5 commission sales girls who are all 1099 employees. The company outsources all of the printing, the news articles are given to the company at no charge. The Company is an independent weekly foreign magazine for sale, targeting large ethnic communities of Southern California. We have subscribers who receive the magazine at their home or place of business. We can also be found, free of charge, at newsstands, restaurants, markets, schools, temples, and other businesses and community centers throughout the L.A metropolitan area.
The Company has a cooperative agreement with leading publications, providing new and interesting articles every week. In addition they prints original material covering a wide variety of interests in areas such as fashion, astrology, local news, and religious and political commentary. The magazine also has a strong classified section, including a ''medical'' section, devoted to local Doctors and medical professionals. In addition to the printed magazine, the Company also operates a website which serves as a portal for ethnic people residing in the U.S. as well as for those residing in foreign countries, The website was launched in the Spring of 2008 and already boasts a monthly visitor count of approximately 100,000. The website includes an online version of the printed publication as well as additional articles and material from multiple sources.
