The business for sale has developed a low-cost arm protector for the U.S. market that provides UV protection rated at UPF50+. UV Arm Protectors are typically used by people that take part in outdoor activities such as golf, tennis, fishing, walking, biking, etc. They provide protection from the sun while delivering a cooling effect as the sun evaporates moisture from the sleeves. They are better than long sleeve apparel because they are portable. They can be worn with short sleeve shirts and put on or taken off in seconds.

UV Arm Protectors are typically sold retail for $12.95 per unit (one pair). Approximately 4,000 units have been sold in the past 2 years. While this is a very small number, it provides testament to the potential market because the product has not been marketed except for a website and some calls to golf pro shops in Florida. We began to offer this product as a hobby and to resolve a personal desire for such product (the owner is a golfer). We have done little to market the product and have not presented the product to large retailers or to golf pro shops beyond Florida.
