I have discovered a very unique way of doing business that has developed in to a flood of incoming calls for us requesting our services. Stick with me because this is crazy. We do not have any advertising budget now and do pay for any advertising. For starters we have discovered over the years that placing a sticker with our phone and contact info in a garage is all that is needed to get repeat customers to call us. Even after the current homeowners move on. It is very odd but something psychological is happening when these stickers are being used. We noticed that the customers are not asking prices when they call. In their minds we are the ones who were either the original installers or we had worked with the past home owners. The shopping around or paging through a yellow page add has now been skipped and the only questions usually are how soon and do you take credit. I have noticed that our free google add also brings in the same type of high quality customer based off of our good reviews but not nearly as many. We do not pay for those either. This is unique to only 2 types of businesses. Garage door repair and heating and air conditioning businesses. After we began noticing this pattern we would install a sticker on the wall near the door button, one on the door and one on the case of the door opener. We have been doing this for many years now. Also our methods once we were in the customer's house have added to our bottom line. We have provided very competent and honest service to the people that have called us. This has been very profitable. Many companies rely on volume and advertising a low service call price like 29.95 to come out then try to upsell with scare tactics. They will then put a band aid on a customer's door and not look around for any other potential problems and take the 29.95 and leave. This story has been cut short by site.Email for complete info.
