My Town Pictures has been in business since 2004 and produce both original feature films, from no-budget to $200k level, as well as television shows. Our TV show, ''Iowa Journeys,'' which is co-produced with television veteran Bob Jensen, aired in every broadcast market in Iowa in its first season and expanding for season two, now in production. It's low production costs and high ceiling for sponsorship makes it a profit generator. On the film side, we have more than sixty feature films in our library. One recent film, www.hisneighborphil.com, was co-produced by Hollywood veteran Daniel Roebuck and is now being shopped to cable networks for broadcast in 2017-2018. it has already been heralded by Alzheimers professionals and advocates for its portrayal of that illness. It should break out with a strong base of support.

Our community films, which has been our mission from day one, was our bread and butter as a small business -- producing original films in small towns and communities and using their own people and history as part of an original story. This extensive library is unique to My Town Pictures. It is important to note that the revenue and cash flow indicators reflect this: as many small filmmakers do, we take money in and apply it immediately to the next one out. As a small business and only 1-2 staff, we have not had the opportunity to exploit the wider market. Now that those opportunities are presenting themselves, I am personally pivoting back to what I love most, which is writing. The business side is something which needs another shepherd, and especially the television show, IOWA JOURNEYS, needs a leader who can deal well with the expanding profit that the show will generate.
