The Beach Hut is an established turnkey seasonal restaurant and 18 hole miniature golf course in Killarney, Manitoba across from the beach at Killarney Lake.

This is a share sale. We purchased the business in 2008 after retiring from our jobs in our mid 50's. It was a perfect fit for us as we wanted to spend our winters in Texas. With this we could work hard all summer and play hard all winter.

Killarney is located 15 miles from the US border in Southwest Manitoba, an hour southeast of Brandon. It is a farming community with a population of 2,150. The population swells in size to more than double during the summer months in addition to a steady tourism traffic flowing through the area.

The Beach Hut is located at the entrance Agricultural Grounds, on land which was formerly owned by the Agricultural Society. We purchased the land when we purchased The Beach Hut in 2008.

The Beach Hut is in the epicentre of most of the community summertime events. The Agricultural Grounds hosts the Ag Fair, annual Fireworks and Canada Day Celebrations, Pioneer Days, Harness Racing. The 8 ball diamonds on the grounds are host to many large tournaments during the summer as well as to all league ball that draws teams nightly from surrounding communities.

The public beach and Erin Park have many outdoor amenities including a splash park, outdoor fitness centre, beach volleyball, outdoor bandstand and picnic areas.
The 3 local RV campgrounds have 421 sites, along with a lot of people who have summer homes around the lake in Killarney. Directly adjacent to The Beach Hut are 2 of these 3 RV campgrounds in Killarney.
The Beach Hut is a 1400 square foot, 32 seat dine-in or take-out restaurant. There are also picnic tables for outside eating. The menu is an extensive burger and fries menu with a balance of salads, wraps etc. A bulk of the business is also ice cream sales including shakes, twisters, cones, sundaes, etc.
