OPPERTUNITIES
Tourism on Lombok is on a stabile and growing level, and the recently opened International Airport in South Lombok is a big contributor to the growth potential of the region. Due to the new airport there has been great progress in the general infrastructure of Lombok over the last few years.
Major villa and hotel projects have commenced and committed to finishing the project by 2015. Here we have made the first contacts to negotiate a dive presence accordingly. Also AirAsia has opened their route Kuala Lumpur-Lombok last December, and as of July 2013 will be upgrading the route to “daily flights”. With this the Malaysian market can now finally be efficiently exploited.
