The Yellow Jacket News is a double sided newsletter that comes out once a week and provides easy reading in waiting rooms, diners, and other places where people gather. The Yellow Jacket News Franchise is available in all fifty U.S. States and Washin DC. The franchise can be operated from home or from a Yellow Jacket News approved building. We supply everything that is needed to start in two models or you can choose a custom franchise package as well.
The Yellow Jacket News includes jokes, riddles, and a word puzzle each week. It also includes twenty ads per issue. The job of the franchise owner is to fill twleve of the open ad spaces with ads from local businesses within their defined territory. The Yellow Jacket News will supply the other eight ads as well as print the newsletters each week and deliver them to the franchise owner. It is also the job of the franchise owner to supply ready-for-print ads to The Yellow Jacket News from the local businesses.
The way the franchise owner makes income is by collecting payment from each local advertiser per week. It is the responsibility of the franchise owner to collect this payment since this is their income for that week. This means that for each payment from the local ads will become the franchise owner's income for that week. Each of the twenty advertisements are 3.5''x3.5'' and are in black and white. Local businesses may run ads for up to one year or as little as one week. All ads must be submitted two weeks before they are expected to run to ensure proper newsletter design.
The cost of a Yellow Jacket Franchise starts at just $3,500 plus $1,000 per year in fees and $100 per week for the printing of the newsletters. This model includes use of the Yellow Jacket News name, the sales kit for the local business ads, email support and training for up to five employees, and an email for your franchise.
