Business Description:
Bicycle trailer with single wheel. Unique Quick release connections. Not that the bicycle industry is shook up over this but it does differ from what is currently available. The one wheel design allows trailer to follow bike through small areas and the unique connection to frame allows the trailer to lean with the bike in turns. I am a avid bike rider but when my vehicle broke down I had to find a way to carry groceries and laundry around. Single dad with 2 young girls and working for the county, money was beyond tight. I used what materials I could find. Electrical metal tubing , street signs and old bike parts. I am actually surprised at how well the first prototype works. Riding around it is hard to tell that you are pulling a trailer. It is not intimidating at all. It follows the bike through turns with ease. I dont have an engineering background but I am happy with how well this works. I do have some drafting experience and I have made mechanical drawings of trailer design. I have rode it around for about 2 years with no issues. Yes I have since fixed my truck but it is fun to ride this around once in a while. This trailer is kinda big and I think a smaller version would perform even better. When I ride it around locally, it gets a lot of positive feedback. I also have other designs for them as a engine powered and self standing and even a camping version that incorporates a tent. A suspension design for more off road applications. I would love to see these in bike shops throughout the country but I don't have the resources to move into manufacturing and shipping. I also dont know what to value this at. But if it does sell, I would like to be involved in future designs.
