Business Description:
For sale: the costume shop, inc. 33 north 6th street Indiana, Pennsylvania 15701. Located in historic Indiana Pennsylvania, the hometown of Jimmy Stewart and the former Christmas tree capital of the world. We have been open for 31 years and due to health issues we need to sell out. Currently around 100k in sales inventory (costumes, accessories, makeup, wigs, hats, 1000's of items) and over 3000 rental costumes, ranging from eh to cool! As well as all the numerous accessories that go with rentals, hats, canes, parasols, petticoats, shirtfronts, ties, cummerbunds, the list goes on) I have 2000 sq feet filled to the brim! You will be purchasing the inventory and equipment, not the building I rent. But the two signs in the last picture go with it. The landlord would be interested in a new tenant. I have a great inventory system on my register with bar coding. Also 100's if not thousands of yards of fabric, sewing supplies and notions (Really a lot!). I sell online at E crater, bonanza and EBay as well as my own website for browsing costume rentals. You are welcome to the sites or I can just close them. Willing to work with new owner to get things changed over and teach if necessary. I would honestly relocate it to a new, more populated area to access more schools and community events. If you already have a shop, just incorporate our inventory...Easy as pie. Feel free to contact with questions 724-465-2260, but financials will be shared with serious inquiries only. It is not doing well in this town, so financials for the past few years are considerably below average.
