Business Description:
CB Industries is a licensed waste disposal facility located near Delta Colorado. We are licensed through Delta County and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment. The facility has been in operation since February 2004.
CB Industries is permitted to compost (class I) the treatment of septage, biosolids, food, grease and sand trap waste. This part of our business generates between $360,000 and $420,000 for the past 5 years with approximately 50% of that profit.
For this part of our business we are asking $1.2MM We are also permitted with the State and County to accept petroleum contaminated soils (PCS), UST removals and E & P drill cuttings/flow back sands. Our approved Design and Operation Plan includes two mono-fill designs withe capacity of 400,000 tons. The existing permit includes 100 acres with the potential to expand to 160 acres. The entire 160 acres has the potential for a PCS mono-fill expansion capable of containing 1.5MM tons of PCS.
This part of our business has nearly unlimited potential as the next cycle of exploration and production of natural gas will again be a part of this region. Prior to 2010 we had accepted in excess of 60,000 tons of PCS and related contaminated soils.
For this part of our business we are asking for 6% of the gross income generated through a Continuing Fee Agreement from the acceptance of all material delivered into the mono-fill cells. This agreement would be limited until the time that an additional $1MM has been paid to the sellers.
