They have decided to now relocate, the company has established a flat-rate pricing system which they have even written a book about, that pays employees 30% of the price of the job, split between the crew, with driver/foreman getting a bigger cut of the 30%, they have also established an innovative outsourced sales team based out of the country at pay that averages around 4-5% of sales. This system allows the company to net a higher percent margin than typical moving companies and employees feel they are part of ownership as they get a percentage of jobs. (9) 1099 employees with 4 drivers, most of whom have been with the company for 1.5 years, a big plus. The equipment consists of 4 tracks, (2) Kenworth 26 ft box trucks, (1) Isuzu 18 ft with lift, and (1) 26 ft Hino with lift value of approximately $150k. The company could be moved to a larger space but has a 3-year verbal lease agreement that could become a written agreement for a new owner on the sublease of approximately 3,000 sq ft warehouse consisting of around 1,500 in offices and another 1,500 in warehouse space as they didn't want to commit to space long term in case they needed more space.
