An obstacle course race's revenue is based on number of races, entry fees and merchandise minus overhead of the race setup / teardown, venue and marketing. The typical max capacity for a 2 day race is 10,000 racers (5,000 per day) times $100 race entry fee, plus merchandise sales and sponsored funding. With the right planning and resources you can safely conduct 10-12 races per year at 1 or more locations.
