When the opportunity to restore this historic movie house presented itself my wife and I accepted the challenge. The theatre has been in continuous operation for 92 years. We shut down for three weeks and completely revitalized the theatre. We rewired the entire building, new HVAC systems, remodeled the bathrooms and made them ADA Complaint, remodeled the concession stand, revitalized the flashy marquee with all new bulbs and neon lights as well as had it painted, remortared the entire brick exterior, etc. We restored historic architecture that had been covered up by renovations done in the 1940s.

The theatre is very profitable and is the only movie theatre within 30 miles. Most people come for the experience more so to watch the movie.

The popcorn machine is original to the theatre and has been making popcorn in this theatre since 1949 as well as the concession display case.

The theatre has been updated with the required digital equipment and doesn't need any additional capital improvements in the short or long term.

My wife and I are willing to stay on to train the right buyer. This is a great opportunity for someone to make a decent income while only working three days a week or extend the offers of the theatre.
